No, there is a 2 millimeter overhang and the SIMM must be kept in place either by a rubber (elastic) band or with the supplied zip (cable tie).
Nobody has experienced any problems with these SIMM's and I even use them myself (it's my own Blizzard Mk IV in the pics).
