This is now sold to Sardine.

I have for sale an Atari STE IDE Doubler Interface by Alan Hourihane (Rev 3). It is a device that you install in your Atari STE that enables you to have an internal CF flash card hard drive similar to the ones you can use on Amiga A1200 computers.

I'm afraid I do not know a lot about this device or how to use/install it as it was installed on an Atari that I brought recently but have no use for as I am opting for an external hard drive solution called the Ultrasatin. All I can tell you for sure is that it does work, as I saw it in operation before removing it from my Atari 1040STE.

Also I do not know if this will work in other Atari computers, all I know is that it will work in a 520STE or 1040STE. I will include the CF card with this device.

I am asking £20 plus the usual PP fees and postage.

ok..

just to keep thread updated.

upgraded brother-in-law's STe to 4mb
installed the IDE Doubler Interface
as expected does not boot the hdd with tos 1.62,(but it is detected and 3 partitions of 333mb each)
ordered, installed and set jumper resistors, tos 2.06

and now booting to a Desktop with 3 HDD partitions, games installed and running great.

Bob (my brother-in-law) is very happy and thanks you.
