Card received 30/01/2016. Tested quickly yesterday : it works well! Thank you Majsta and the Apollo team, you're amazing![]()
Does the vampire cover the ide header in anyway? looks like its going to be tight around there.
A1200 (NOS) : 030 33MHz 128MB fast RAM (ACA1232) : Indivision AGA MkII : 8GB CF : RR USB : Ethernet
A600 #1 : 080 V2 : 128MB fast : 2MB chip : Indivision ECS : 32GB CF : RR USB : Ethernet | A600 #2 : 010 : 2MB chip
A500 : 68000 42MHz : 1MB chip : 8MB fast : 4GB CF | A500+ : 080 V2+ : 128MB fast : 2MB chip : 32GB CF
No, ide header are not covered at all. Here you can see a IDE cf adapteur that has still another connecter on the right from ide header... So, no collision problem at all with the A600 ide headers...
EDIT : Vampire sd car reader onboard is still not active. We have to use the A600 IDE.

mine is similar to this.

the ribbon cable comes directly out (to the right) towards the vampire. just wondering if there will be a problem with the cable itself pushing into it as well as having the CF card resting on top of the vampire?
I think you will have no problem, there is enough place. Plus, the Vampire is secured with 2 screws, one on each side of the board. It's well stable.
Kickstart uploaded.
