I never had a chance to thank you for the quick shipment. While I was in England in June, the adapters came in a few days to my U.K. address after I had ordered them.

Based on the discussion in this thread, I bought the BenQ BL912 from Amazon.co.uk in June. I was in England at the time and had them ship it to my address there. Then I brought the package in my airline check-in suitcase back to California. The BL912 made its debut at the July SCCAN meeting, and I've subsequently shown it at the July FCUG meeting and at the Commodore Vegas Expo. It has performed excellently; I am pleased that it can display the several Amiga screenmodes I have thrown at it.

Here is my experience. I am using an NEC 1970nx (another very nice 15khz monitor) I have tested it on the Amiga 500, 1000, 2000, and 4000. With a buffered adapter (commodore) it will work on all models of Amiga's. With a straight wired adapter an no inverters installed, it will only work on the Amiga 500. the 1000, 2000, and 4000 all needed the buffer. They will not even boot. Something about the computer thinking it has a genlock installed rather than a monitor. The buffer/inverter mod is very easy and cheap to install and all fits nicely in that little case. I made one this last weekend and now all of my Amigas will work with my NEC.

Thanks for sharing, it is always good to know of other 15kHz capable monitors even though this model seems to be quite oldish and probably only few people would have the opportunity to see it in action.
