Hello all,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but i hope it helps someone.
I have a Scan Magic and like most Scan Magics it didn't come with fitting instructions which means googling and trying to find a reference to the orientation for both the A1200 and A4000.

Bazzaq very kindly scanned the original doc, but it's a small doc and not too clear, so basically I've cleaned it up and made it full A4 size.

hopefully we can spread this throughout the Amiga world and make this info easy to find?

i've done it as a JPEG so hopefully everyone will be able to open it without any problems.

cheers, JuvUK

cool, and this is exactly why i wanted to do this(y)

now when we have the pretty pics from Zetr0 we shall spread it across the enitre world!!! mwahhawhawhawhawwwww

Dammit, I only bloody broke off the cable didn't I!

:stick:

I'll have to call on the father-in-law to solder it back on for me, this time will secure it with some hot glue like in the pics.

I installed it and got 'no signal' and when I checked one of the cables wasn't connected and the other was hanging by a thread.

I was really careful as well :Doh:

Another job for the weekend...

It's almost clean enough to OCR

It's actually one of the kind of sites that I feel is still needed..
though there is replacement docs, but they watermark their documents :-/

these break for a pasttime m8, but they are incredably easy to repair! i even did mine:eek:

I have a perfect copy here, but it's a Word doc and Amibay won't let me upload it :(

if you can use a program like pdfcreator (from pdf forge) you can print that word doc and save as PDF.
the text is still copy/paste able as far as I remember ;-)
and every OS with respect for itself has a pdf reader ;-)

i must be honest and confess, :oops: i couldn't work out how to save the word doc as a PDF and also there is a limit to the file size on here (the original JPG is 8mb)

it's ok, when the piccies from Zetr0 are done, my good lady is going to convert it all to PDF

@Juvvie

Email the word doc to me and I'll do the business for you (y)

@Juvuk :)

PDF 101

install PDF Creator (or another, I prefer pdf creator due to the fact you can compress pics, password protect etc, and it's totally free)

Open your document
print (ctrl-p) and choose "PDFcreator" as printer
wait for it to prompt you, and choose Save as
find your folder where you want to save, and click save.

you don't need to do this today, but just for future reference ;-)

perfect!

thanks Tomse:)
