On offer here is a NTSC VIC20. Nice and clean, fully working. Serial number P1480257. No PSU, use your C64 5vDC/9vAC unit. Only minus is a the original metal badges are showing signs of corrosion? I will supply a 'paper badge' too if the buyer needs. Included now is the s-video mod and 1 meter s-video (or chroma-luma monitor cable)

The VIC20 is still available. I will include a s-video or chroma-luma video cable and the s-video mod on this model.

Can I use my regular C64 European PSU with this NTSC model? Will it run @60Hz? Sorry if the question sounds dumb.

Declaring interest now that the s-video mod and cable are included. mrr19121970 agreed to reserve the Vic20 for me. Payment will be made soon.

Tracking info received. As postage ended up to be more expensive than the agreed amount, I'll pay the difference to mrr19121970. I think it's fair since mrr always showed great openness and helpfulness.

you will have great fun with the VIC, you may like to get a RAM expansion tho :) (if you are going to play around with programming 3.5k isn't very much, and there are 8k and 16k programs out there (well..there are 32k programs too :p ))

yes, I remember that...looked horrible

I seem to also recall a fairly decent Ultima style RPG that wanted 24 or 32k...

in any case, there is a ton of software for unexpanded, 8k and 16k VIC

Thanks, guys. I'm aware of the RAM expansions required for the Vic-20. I already own two of them (one currently being repaired) and a couple of RAM expansions (8K and 16K).
I don't think I'll ever play Doom on the Vic... it's just too much confusion of pixels flying everywhere, although I'm really impressed that someone managed to make it run on this tiny platform. :D
