Up for sale I have a PC Engine plus RGB / AV box - Can be sold as a bundle or separately.

Both items pictured.

The PC Engine works but has recently developed a fault where there are artefacts/glitches in the graphics. After a thorough clean it worked fine but started doing it again pretty quickly. Its either dirt or maybe has some dry joints on the cart slot connector cable maybe but I cannot be sure. The fuse is also damaged but I bypassed it to test that it still works (I had used wrong polarity which blew fuse). So needs some repairs and for sure a new fuse. Other than that the picture is crystal clear and sound including stereo works perfect. Controls work fine too. It is also important to note that I have ONLY tried using my Turbo EverDrive. I have not tried using an original Hu-Card which for all I know could work fine. So to be clear, PC Engine is sold as Spares & Repairs / Faulty.

The RGB box I had bought brand new. Costed me around 80 Euros around 2 or 3 years ago. It can output RGB SCART or AV composite. I believe these are made by Ootake. This works fine as I have another PC Engine and I use this but no longer needed since I have since purchased an RGB modded IFU.

Price is 70 Euro for both items (PC Engine + RGB box) or else Split price is 50 Euro for RGB box and 25 Euro for PC Engine + PayPal fees & shipping.

You get what you see - No cables, no AC adapter, No controllers. At most I can include free a standard a SCART cable for the RGB box but its nothing special, just your standard everyday SCART to SCART cable.

This is advertised elsewhere.

Thanks for looking (y)

Just for the record, I'd like to state that RGB augmented PC-engines are AWESOME.
My own white PC-engine is RGB modded, and I have a similar RGB extension on my Supergraf'x, and the result is really worth it.
By comparison, the regular AV output on my Duo-RX, though quite decent for a composite, is markedly inferior.
Just saying.

Ho, and make sure you plug the cable in a RGB enabled scart connector on your TV.
It took me years before I realized the not all scart plugs are RGB enabled. Some just carry composite signal.
CRT TVs mostly, I suppose, because all the scarts on my HD TV are RGB ready.

But in the other hand, don't use it as an excuse to use a HD TV for your retro gaming, it's the devil !
