So since i am an Amiga user i always have somthing to fix or think about fixing and this time its the scsi, the worst thing there is :double

As most of you guys know im using an 3000T and i want to use the onboard scsi and that is a 50pin scsi male connector.
I also have an 120gb ide disk that i want to use with the amiga 3000T since i do not have any 50pin scsi drivers and i do not have a PC that i can connect them to and transfer classic installs...

So the things i have is this
A3000T 50pin male connecor
50pin -> 68pin converter ( no jumpers or anything on this, just an simpel adapter)
ACARD 68pin to IDE adapter
And the por IDE HDD that i want to use.

First i thought i could just plug everything together and it would fire up but when you are an Amiga user nothing is that easy :computertrash:

I hocked up my IDE HDD to my subway thru an USB cable and partitioned the HDD with
SFS
Mask: 0x7FFFFFFE
Maxtransfer: 0x0001FE00

Transferd my DH0 to the first 3.8gb of the new HDD and ofc i marked it as bootable.

When everything was done i turnd of the Amiga and startet do plug in the HDD to the SCSI.
Motherboard - > 50pin cable -> 50pin to 68pin adapter -> ACARD 68pin to IDE -> IDE HDD

Set the jumpers so Termination would be "ON" on the ACARD and olso the Termpower.
Fire the computer up and all i get is a software error "press any button thingi"
I restart and hold down both mouse buttons and i see my DH0/DH1/D2 but i get error when i try to boo from the DH0.

Any tips ppl?
Do i need a better converter or what?

What has worked well for me is:

Motherboard -> 50 to 68 pin adapter -( connected to the motherboard) > 68 pin cable -> 68 pin drives -> 68 pin active terminator.

Gues i have to try that out, mind linking me to the converter you where using?
