I need 2... I have ordered 20 of these (postage is €10 to the UK for the lot). once they arrive I'll flog 'em off at £3 inc P&P. (£1 part, £1 packaging + £1 postage )
Hopefully that's useful!

And now people at this site will wonder why there are suddenly dozen of buyers for these switches which happily lived for years somewhere in the box, LOL.

P.S. I've bought few but not enough to share around. Hopefully haven't took the last remaining stock of these devices, LOL.

Since I only managed to get 1 switch from bjt, I also ordered a small lot at pollin :D

Once they arrive, I will sell them here for what I paid for them  1 EUR per piece + postage (should be as low as 0,90 EUR in Germany as "Warensendung" and 3,45 EUR in Europe as "large letter"). If somebody finds a cheaper shipping option, please let me know.

When you'll receive them you could do the most important thing for the community: compare them! They are really cheap but are they really identical?

Is the any more to buy?
I'm interested in 2.

Yes please let's us know when you are selling them.

I need 2. ;)

Look up the thread: apparently pollin.de have these in stock (there's a link in bjc message) except we don't know for sure if these are the same ones or not (well, darthmaul will know soon) and shipping price may be a bit prohibitive - that's why there are people who are buying them in bulk (darthmaul in Germany and chiark in UK) to then distribute locally (it would probably make no sense to ship them to other country since shipping would be as high as it would be directly from pollin.de, LOL).

Would we create shortage of these switches on pollin.de? Only time will tell. We've already, most likely, created a huge spike, LOL.

Great idea  I will check them as soon as I have received them and report back here. If they are okay, I will start a new thread 8)

I am, however, pretty sure that they are a suitable replacement for the 1084S and CM88xx switches, since quite a number of people also refer to pollin.de when talking about switch replacements. Most of these sites are in German, however - see for example here and here.

Subscribed :) one of my babies could use a new one too

I've now got 15 of these :D . Will start a separate thread once I've had a chance to compare them. I'll PM darthmaul to try and coordinate to avoid confusion...

OK, so these will fit electrically, however there's a couple of small differences with my 1084S-P1
- Original switch is soldered to the PCB, and there's 2 plastic pegs from the bottom of the switch that are not present on the ones from pollin. I don't think this is a problem.
- Front support on the original is different and the replacement will not fit with the front support that's fitted... The supplied front support needs to be removed by bending two metal tabs outwards and gently removing, and the front support from the old switch needs to be removed then fitted. Removing the support takes patience - be gentle!

Switches received in France and looking good. They'll be travelling with me back to Australia tomorrow so can be fitted in my monitors.:)
Will leave positive feedback as soon as confirmed they fit. Cheers.

Hi mate, do you still have some? I have a friend here in Australia who is very knowledgeable about monitors and saved tens of them in the past but he doesn’t know he can source replacement switches...
His strength is on the HT / flyback side of expertise...
thanks for him, he would easily express interest in 12 of them!
Kind regards,
Seb
