U2 360 Concert

Went to the U2 360 concert at Soccer City last night. Absolutely ****** phenomenal!!! There were over 100 000 people, even if you don't like U2, this is a concert not to be missed.. Check out the photos.

That looks simply incredible! I have been lucky enough to see them in 1997 during the 'Pop Mart' era and in 2005 during the 'How to dismantle and atomic bomb' era and both times blew me away, and that looks like a further step forward still!!

They came out here the first time in 1998 for the Pop Mart tour, also really amazing. Missed an opportunity in 2001 to see them at Slane Castle when I was in the UK, DOH!

It's been a good couple of weeks here for concerts, Faithless was here last week and Rammstein are currently touring at the same time as U2. Big concerts like these don't happen often in SA.

That's a real shame, I think we are spoiled for choice here..

Popmart was mind blowing for the time, genuinely, to see that stuff in 1997 when the world was still so primitive back then:wooha:

My wife went for the three Brazilian shows: Pop Mart (she was single that era), then Vertigo (she was alone, I was at home), then this tour when she finally convinced me to go.:roll:
