Found A4K scandoubler

Hi all,

someone please help me to help my a4000, after testing with an A520 kindly lent to me by Davideo, it seems my scandoubler has died

so i need a new one, i don't care if it's got flicker fixer, i just want a resonably priced internal scandoubler for A1200/A4000 the bandy on an LCD type

please help me as i'm miggyless right now

Send me you scan doubler, if its just memory chips or DAC, I have the bits to repair it.

He's now 3 days on & I still don't have any correspondence from him. :|

I can sell you this one but before we agree on a sale, is there any point putting another one in, if the DAC might cook itself again?
Surely it would be better to know why yours cooked itself prior to the expense & disappointment of it happening all over again

Those DCE Flicker/Scan Magic's get pretty hot normally, I guess since Juvvy's system is towerd he also has a Vertical Zorro Busboard?

If thats blocking in the DCE that would explain why its overheated. I'd suggest a Video Slot Scan Doubler here if you can find one Juvvy.

it's because there is no airflow behind the zorro board (have rectified this with a fan now) sometimes you don't know there's a problem until it happens
