I got a few NOS datassette units fo Commodore 64. These come complete in original packaging, with box and manual. Datassettes were never used and have no yellowing at all. I use 2 such without any problems. If anybody is interested, I can test them before shipping, otherwise I can't give any warranty that these are fully functional. Due to the age I can't give any other warranty. I have 2 models in offer.

SPECIAL OFFER: 35 EUR per unit with tracked shipping included inside the EU!

Price: 30 EUR per unit + shipping, payment using Paypal as gift, or add payment fees.
Can send anywhere in the world.

Also available elsewhere.

Shipping inside the EU:

The weight of the unit is something over 800 grams. The shipping prices are the following:

- Tracked shipping to 1 kg: 8.80 EUR
- Second class insured for 100 EUR to 1 kg: 8.70 EUR
- Second class without tracking to 1 kg: 6.90 EUR

- Tracked shipping to 2 kg: 14.30 EUR
- Second class insured for 100 EUR to 2 kg: 12.80 EUR
- Second class without tracking to 2 kg: 11.00 EUR

Insured shipping should have the tracking number too.

For shipping outside the EU, just ask.

I don't know if I will be able to get into 1 kg with safe packaging, otherwise the shipping will be to 2 kg.

Also, by shipping without tracking, I cannot give any warranty in case the package is lost.

If package is not insured, I also cannot give any warranty in case the package is damaged.

It's 33 EUR for 1 unit, I corrected it. If you are still interested, just let me know, I package it and check the shipping.

In which case I will have to back down and give way to someone else. Best of luck with your sale and hope you had a good Christmas:thumbsup:

I declare interest for 1 unit. Couple of questions:

- Is this by Commodore (perhaps repackaged) or third party?
- How much is postage to Malta?

Thanks!

These look the same as original Commodore ones, the only thing that is missing is Commodore logo and also different font and color used above datassette buttons. The Commodore had silver looking one.

I made a picture for you, not very quality one, but you can see the difference.

As for the shipping, I'll check and let you know by PM.

Hi, thanks for clearing that up, I am looking for a proper Commodore version though.

I'll be selling also Commodore ones, don't have any NOS, but all of them are in a great condition, complete in a box. One of them is in the picture above :) Need to check them first if these are fully functioning.

I added shipping info to EU in case of interest.

I might declare interest after the following question is answered.

The advert clearly states that these datasettes have Nitrus oxide systems installed.

My question is this, "Do datasettes work any faster or more reliably with the NOS installed?"

Yes, these are much faster. You don't even need to insert the tape

Just joking :) I read that thread about using NOS word, but I think it is still the best word to use for 'new old stock'

Declaring interest in 1 NOS unit (the commodore model).

Just to make it clear, this is not the original Commodore model. Even if it looks almost the same, it lacks the Commodore label and also the box is a little bit different. Functionality is the same. If you are still interested, just let me know.
