I was just wondering, has anybody found a nice case option for the ACA500 yet.

I've heard that it will fit in the GVP+8 Case? (any pictures anyone?)
Or you can buy an acrylglas casing through some retailers?
Anybody found other alternatives?

I guess there first has to be enough demand before someone will make a few cases that have that miggy look ;)

I've build my ACA in a GVP A530 Case (it's from a defective one) - that's nearly the same case. You have to remove the backplate and do some other small modifications.

I am loving this mod! Its really nice and this is the style of case an enclosure should be aiming towards!

The only change should be opening the front up so the card slots are accessible.

Also how did you actually fix the aca500 down? I am assuming risers, bolts etc?

I've used 4 16x3 mm screws - but I would recommend 20 mm screws. The red marked points have to be reworked. The A530 case itself fits exactly on the ground plate without the help of screws, so I left them out and due to this it's easy to access the CF Cards. :)
