I was looking for fan+heatsink+clips for Blizzard PPC for about 6 months from now.
https://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?t=4362
Result: Found one broken Blizzard PPC via a1k.org forum.
Apparently card came back to life after few minutes with solder iron. :)

Hopefully I've manage to find proper fan.

But no luck with heatsink and clips. :(
So I decided to do heatsink by my own. Well; not really me, but I ordered to produce 10 of them via local Company. Was not cheap...
Result on the pictures bellow:

Now I need to do tampoprint to have 100% replacement! :D
I have found such Company already.

Conclusion:
There is always at least one method to solve the problem.

Still looking for clips...
Found quite similar, but would be good to have 100% the same.

Now that is dedication at it's best Stan.

I really must admire your tenacity.

Those spring clips must be as rare as rocking horse poo. Have you tried contacting DCE?

They might be able to help or at least give you a pointer. ;)

Thanks Charlie! :)
Yeah; having 4 Blizzard PPC without cooling system I was determined to do something :-)

With regards clip:
In fact I've found two Companies in Poland:

First Company is selling some heatsinks for TO-220+clip. It can be the solution. Of course it's ridiculous to buy heatsink and throw it away, but well; better than nothing.

Second Company is selling such clips with MOQ 20000pcs and no stock now.

So I will see.

Nice one. - I guess if you need some clips in a hurry, you would chuck the HS away, but in retrospect of time frame, the other guys might have them back in stock in time for when you need to start using your stock of home made sinks.

Well done again.

Charlie

PS. As a matter of interest, are the Clips the same as the ones used on the big box PPC card?
I've only ever held one Blizzard PPC which was for the rig I built for ravestar. I remember looking at the clips but at the time, had no CSPPC card to compare.

Yes, clips on Blizzard PPC and Cyberstorm PPC are the same.

Wow, you even had them printed?? :)

Now, you only have to reverse engineer the rest of the hardware :-P

Wow & then some Stan.

I can only guess you checked out the copyrights thingy-mer-larky?

Hi

The BPPC I bought a few months ago was missing a clip, I got one from an old TV, it was used to attach a voltage regulator to a heat-sink.
These clips, in different sizes, were very common in CRT TVs & monitors.
These days all I have to do is take a walk in my neighborhood over the weekend, chances are I'll stumble upon some type of CRT device on the sidewalk, people are dumping them left & right

I'll keep an eye out for them stachu100!

@UberFreak,
If you could find some would be very nice!
Thanks in advance. :)

I had no luck to find 100% the same.
Found somewhat similar, but after small modifications they are doing good job. :)
