A500 Zorro Adapter Flexcable put board on top of amiga
Hello there,
Is there any Zorro compatible flex cable on the market for the AMIGA
that I could use together with this adapter for the A500 ?
They do exist for PCs: if you google on www linitx com for example
This would allow us to put the Zorro board on top of the A500, optionally
build it into a nice tiny box.
I really need this, since I don't want to have the zorro board
next to my A500 lying or standing up.
The Amiga has a BodegaBay solution, but why is there not a small
tiny box that I can hook to the Amiga 500 slot, and put nicely
on my A500 to house one single Zorro board ?

You need to look for "Flexi riser cable" on the www linitx com
site. Then you will understand what I mean: maybe a similar
flexi riser cable exists for ZORRO, or could be made by modification.

I'm making one to my friend Jurgen using a TOTALLY DEFUNCT A500 and one brand new A500 slot/socket.:banghead:
86 wires individually soldered and insulated.:tired:
But even when the extension is done, he will not be able to use it to fold a Zorro board inside the A500 because Zorro boards are too wide: they simply don't fit, no matter what.
Only half-length boards fits, but with components face down and stopping the case to be properly closed.
