I am looking for a 040-060 adapter for my warp engine. Does anyone have one to sell or where I can get one.

@Pior can you confirm which version of the warp engine you have the reason I ask this is the position of the 68040 socket is different on the rev 1 and rev 3

The rev 3 will allow the normal 040-060 adaptors to work however due to the layout difference on the rev 1 the adaptor hits other components

How do you tell what revision they are, I do not see any markings or rev number on the card

Ok so is type 1 the Rev 1 or the Rev 3 card.
It looks like the one I have is a Type 1 that has more space between the CPU and SCSI header. Is that the one that

OK It looks like I have the Rev 3 according to the Amiga Hardware Database

Thanks

Well It looks like I have one of each. Is there a different adaptor for the Rev 1 cards.

I've not come across one yet for my rev 1 sadly my rev 3 is not working so I've not been able to test it with a normal 060/040 adapter I just know my adapter will not fit the rev 1 sadly

It is possible to fit a ‘normal’ adapter to a rev1 WarpEngine but you have to cut down the scsi connector if you plan to use the board scsi

I am using a normal 060 adapter on a WE. It does work.
