I've got a couple of Sun Ultra 5's getting in my way if anyone's interested.

They were used as servers for years and were given to me with no hard disks (they take IDE, not SCSI), keyboards or mice.

They have on-board ATI graphics with standard VGA out, there's also RAM in both.

I have just turned them both on and they seem to work, it's a long time since I've seen a prompt waiting for input on ttya!

Heavy, so really need to be collected or for collection to be arranged.

Do you know what spec they are? CPU speed, amount of ram etc?

I'm really interested, but not sure I could collect so would need to know postage costs before I decide.

No idea to be honest. I'll open the case up tomorrow if I get time and see if I can make anything out. I do know there's 2 sticks of RAM in each but couldn't make out what they are without pulling the floppy cradle out of the way.

Accordingly with the datasheet of the machine, maximum RAM supported is 128Mb, which render each DIMM slot up to 32Mb.

Right, they appear to have 128Mb RAM and a 333mhz CPU, part no 501-5568-01. The thing weighs about 18Kg according to the specs, don't have any scales to check.

Sorry. I have to cancel my interest at the moment. Hopefully someone else will be interested in them.
