Hey guys,
Just upgraded my CF cards to larger capacity, and so I am selling my 2 x 8GB ones, as I don't use them anymore!
CF cards are a bit of a lottery to work well on Amiga, especially on Buddha which can be picky on which ones are recognised as IDE drives alongside the installer DOM to get prepped/formatted. Took me a few attempts to find those compatible ones, tons of bad clones out there and these are genuine Sandisk that do work fine on my Amiga! Used them for a few weeks on and off, no errors.
I have 2 cards for sale:
- Genuine Sandisk 8GB Extreme 60MB/s - £12.50
- Genuine Sandisk 8GB Ultra 30MB/s - £10.00
(they run at the same speed on Amiga as the Zorro & IDE max speeds are well slower than these speeds. (2MB/s I see at peak, in most of my configs)
Happy to offer the pack of 2 cards for £20.00. (free 2nd class shipping - UK only, Brexit and all)
That's cheaper than most cards on eBay, and you know they've been run ok on Amiga: I can even format them FFS with sub 4GB partitions, or PFS3 for you if you wish.
Cheers!
