Hey there everyone, I just bought my first "new" Amiga, an A1000. Interestingly, it is the only Amiga model that I haven't owned.
In middle school I saved all of my paper route money to purchase an A500 from Sears. In high school, I managed to put enough money together to get an A2000 with a hard drive, and in college I spent some of my college savings on an A1200, which I still have. My A4000 died during my senior year, and I ended up switching to the Macintosh platform, which I am currently a user of today. But I sure do miss the days of my Amigas.
Was a strange feeling, being an Amiga user in the states in 90s. I always felt like I was the only one.
Glad to be a part of this site.
