It's finally happened - I've bought something from Japan that doesn't support 240V and has a hardwired PSU.

Does anyone have a transformer that will allow me to run 100V products (120V as well would be a bonus, but not required) on a UK 230V power supply?

The system supports 50Hz power, so that should not be a problem - but again, one that can convert 50Hz to 60Hz (assuming that's what Japan use, I haven't actually checked) would be a bonus.

a 60Hz device will work OK on 50Hz systems, it will only consume a little more energy if the internal power supply is based on step transformers instead switched power supplies (will low the efficiency of the step transformer).

Now, 100V?????????

I only know 115 to 127V and 220 to 240V systems, both in 50 or 60Hz.

Are you sure the unit is not an auto-switch 100 to 240V?
