An ancient Commodore computer has been whirring away day and night for more than 30 years...an Amiga 2000!

"Though it has performed its job admirably, it could shut off at any time, and schools in the Grand Rapids Public Schools district are hoping a new bond measure will give them the cash they desperately need to replace it."

This is a fairly old story. Someone was quoted as saying they wanted to upgrade it to an A1200.

Makes me laugh! I bet you it does the job perfectly. Then somebody will come along and break it in the name of progress by installing a pc lol.

By the way they could use a Raspberry Pi 1 or 2 for this purpose. It's cheap and can do the job easily. By the way to not pay for new software Amiga emulation on any machine will do the job. Hey it's Amibay no?
