I wonder, if we as a community could collect enough money to pledge for one of the first specimens. An esteemed member of the community would be trusted with the printer and AmiBay members could have their boards printed and sent to them.

Those members who've participated would pay only expenses and other members a nominal fee.

What do you think?

The math is easily done. It's 12 hundreds so find 12 amibayers willing to pay 1 hundred, or 100 amibayers willing to pay 12

So first count who's interested...

I would pay 12 towards that, as long as it's not 12 gold coins

Others should add themselves to the list with their number (the next available).
So when we reach 100 (or more, if someone takes the interest back) we are ready to find the lucky one for its custody and place an order

But before anyone starts sending any money or declaring interests, I'd like to hear a moderator's opinion about this. Maybe even a short discussion round among mods and maybe VIPs how and if this should be organized.
