Found 68040 to 68060 adaptor for Rev1 WarpEngine

Hello Amibayers , I am looking for a 68040 to 68060 adaptors.I already have one which seems that never worked for me.It is one of the early prototypes .Does any one has such a complete adaptor or at least a kit? Do anyone has experience on these delicate piece of hardware I could ship my adaptor to have an eye on it? Thank you.

you are aware that a regular 3.1 rom will prevent the machine from booting with one of these?

You need a patched exec or newer (>= 3.1.4?) kickstart.

Hello and thank you for your help.I actually strongly support Hyperion's efforts and I have both 3.1.4 back then and 3.2.1 today so yes . Can't wait to get the adaptor in my hands.I already had one but never worked for my warpengine and the 68040 sounds limited for my a4000.

Ok. I’ve been using a 040-060 adapter on my warp engine for years, just wanted to make sure you knew they will not work at all with a 060 with FPU on anything older than KS3.1.4.
(unless you burn a custom 3.1 or 3.9 ROM)
