Just found out the CPUs are the Writeback version (they have &EW engraved, thanks Sardine!)
Here's a video on testing writeback versions against other versions of the DX4 100 cpu:

If you need more memory than 4MB
, please check my topic with RAM SIMMS for sale. They've all been tested in one of these bundles.

All boards were tested to boot to DOS 6.22 with an IDE to CF adapter and ran AIDA16.

Mine also arrived today. It was very good packed indeed. Thank you very much!
Will install it this evening 🤗

I got other 486 bundle in another thread.

Of these I will have one more bundle soon, but it'll be with a better CPU.

Finally got to build the pc

The above dx4 setup 16kb lvl1 writeback
128k lvl 2 cache
36mb ram
7.9gb quantum fireball
2x cdrw
8x cdrom

Diamond 2000 ( S3 Virge 2mb )
3com 3c905b 10/100
Creative SB16 jumpered bug free fitted with S2 wavetable
Microsoft intelimouse 1.1a serial
Generic el cheapo at keyboard ( wish i had better)
Win95b/Dos 7

Runs like a champ. Boots 95 in under a minute with all the “stuff” I’ve installed inc networking.

It’s limit is quake just playable and surprisingly c&c redalert dos seems ok only slows down when there’sa lot going on.

Spent to much time playing of all things aceventura kids adventure game lol.

Duke3d runs great but not that far in to the later levels yet.

The s2 definitely helps with likes of wing commander. Doom of course. Warcraft and dark forces etc.

Nice little 486.
I even wrote a cd. Took 35 minutes lol. Elite Frontier ( the later texture mapped version with the cheesy fmv videos ). But to slow to play on it

Taa
