David Pleasance posted on FB a couple of weeks ago that he was willing to donate the above book to any Forums so that it could be used to raise funds to provide support.

So I dropped David a PM and yesterday the book arrived :D

I've been thinking of how we could award this as a gift to a member of AmiBay.

Some of you may know or not as the case may be that I've been video filming of social events and theatre shows since 1986.

Over the last few years I've filmed a few shows for one producer that has had some famous stars within them.

So rather than try to make up questions on retro gear I thought I'd post some screenshots of the stars and see if you can identify them.

Although the contest is free to enter it would be nice if you could drop a small donation into AmiBay to allow us to follow David's request.

My suggestion is that a £1 or equivalent F&F payment to donations@amibay.com should raise some pennies for AmiBay and allow us to send the book to the lucky winner.
If you do decide to make a donation please don't put anything else in the PayPal comments box except your forum name otherwise the Paypal police will be after us.

So how do you enter :-

I'll add the screenshots in the next post.
Each is numbered from 1 to 10.
All you have to do is drop me a PM with the stage names of the stars.

i.e.
1 = Fred Bloggs
2 = Freda Smith
3 etc
4 etc

I'll add your score out of ten to this topic in chronological order.

If you can recognise all 10 stars you'll be entered in to a draw (I've not decided how to do that yet) and the winner will get the book.

This is open to all members of AmiBay and I'll also post a link to this Topic on the AmiBay FB page.

I forgot an important bit - the contest will close at midnight on 22nd April 2022

It seems that this is too hard so here are the answers

1 = Denise Nolan
2 = Frank Williams
3 = Dana
4 = Bernie Clifton
5 = Elaine Delmar
6 = Duggie Brown
7 = Anita Harris
8 = Vince Hill
9 = Tommy Cannon
10 = Billy Pearce

So if you make a donation of £1you will be issued with a number in sequence to be entered in a draw (in a similar way to the 4000D contest)
The number will be issued in chronological order as the donations are made.

You can enter more than once and receive one number per unit of donation.

For completeness all numbers issued will be added to this post.
