I have designed a small adapter for usb mouses and some usb joysticks too:
It should work with most usb mouses (even wireless) as i've tried it with half a dozen mouses, and all worked ok:
You can also connect some usb joysticks/gamepads and use them as joysticks too:
Note that joysticks/gamepads recognized by windows other than "USB joystick" (for example: "usb gamepad) would probably NOT work.
Price is 10euros + shipping (5euros for 1piece, 6euros for 2 or more, registered/tracked postage), paypal payment.
