For sale this AOpen FC-PGA Slocket (Socket 370 to Slot 1) Adapter card complete with an Intel Pentium 3 1GHz SL52R and ThermalTake Golden Orb Cooler. The slocket had been previously modified with a cut trace and a resistor installed. It wasn't working on my motherboard, so I reversed the mod by removing the resistor and bodging again the trace. It is now working again. Here are some photos:

You need a board capable of running at 133mhz FSB and multiplier of 7.5. If unsure write the model of the board and I'll check if it has official support on theretroweb. :)

Nvm. Asus p2b so 100mhz.

I was under the impression some slockets ran independent speeds and voltages

Asus P2B works just fine at 133 MHz, same as 99.9% of all motherboards based on the 440BX. :-)
The only problem you are likely to encounter (depending on the board revision), is the one related to the PWM controller, which might not support voltages lower than 1.8V, and as such Coppermine CPUs will not work out of the box (you'll need to mod the board and replace the controller).

Just doing a bit of research

My asus says p2b-b v1.01 so on paper its a no.

That aopen fc-pga has jumpers for voltage from 1.4 up to 2.5 so is the slocket requesting lets say 1.65v fromt the motherboard or does the slocket converter the 1.8v down to lets say 1.65v ( photos on aaronkatrini suggest jumpers are currently set to 1.75 )

It's probably an undocumented setting. If your motherboard has the W83194R-39A clock generator, then it does support it and it even has the /4 PCI divider.

The slotket only manipulates the voltage request signal sent to the motherboard, it does not have a DC-DC converter.
