I am looking for a case from a dead A1000 - I want to do a build with it, but I don't want to take a working unit to do so. (Don't fret, fellow Amigans, I am not going to do anything destructive to it) - My aim is to build a PiMiga or similar inside an A1000 case - which to me is the best looking computer ever made.
Not needing a keyboard or mouse - I have an A1000 mouse, and I plan on using a BT or some other keyboard to go with the replacement internals.
That said, if you have one that has broken internals or even some (not crushed!) cosmetic damage, or missing some of the doors, that would be ok, as well. IF it has broken internal locator points etc, is fine as well, as that portion is not a limiting factor, either.
I can fabricate some parts, but the larger full case is beyond what I have available to work with. (That, or more accurately, I don't have good dimensions for the full case, which I would take off this case and try to fab from). Weirdly, I've been able to find door and cover dimensions, but finding the actual case dims has eluded me (and I never thought to measure the 1 used to have... shame on me)
