In generally bad condition & not working. I would fix it, but there isn't the room to keep it...it's been living on a chair in the kitchen for months now, hahahaha :p

No floppy drive fitted, but all the custom chips are still on board, so good for spares maybe?

I'll ship anywhere on earth provided you pay the postage costs

@ FLB

I am sooooo tempted, however, I would probably have to sell a kidney to pay the shipping costs to the UK, that's a shame.... :(

Sea-Mail...... Jeepers, it`d get here quicker on a Kangaroo fitted with a Back Pack!

All the same though, that's not a bad price to be fair.

As a matter of interest, what was the Air Mail quote? :|

Re: A1000

Does it come with a keyboard Fingers?

I already have enough A1000s but I recently gave one away to a fellow Melbourne Amiga User Group member minus a keyboard.

Ok, time & space have become major factors...I'm about to become a home owner, yikes! :(

If it doesn't go to a good home soon, I'll have to either throw it away or throw it away!

Re: A1000

You mean see if anyone bytes! :p

Actually, if any of the gold custom chips are compatible I'll need to make sure & swap them into the A2000 first...almost forgot! 8)

Always wondered what the PZ meant, thought it could be your initials but I know that's not the case, is it PEACE?[/quote:211p2hk5]

Well, I used to post on a lot of HipHop boards & all the kids on there seemed to sign off "peace".

A friend & I both thought that was kind of poser-ish & g@y, so he would sign off "peas", whilst I would sign off "PZ".

It became my silly trademark & I've used it ever since on all forums I frequent, regardless of subject matter or member demographic.

So short answer, yes, it means "peace"...but not really :p

The "MIL-spec" chips are compatible. Essentially Paula, Denise and CIAs. Thin Agnus is A1000-only.

Re: A1000

Processor & all custom chips removed...now it's a totally useless piece of junk.

Just in case I'll leave it up here until tomorrow (bin night) & if nobody claims it by then it becomes rubbish

Re: A1000

Don't bin it!

At the very worst I'd love it as a spare for the GB1000 that I've got coming, but anyone who has ordered a GB1000 board could really make use of this.

Whatever, don't bin it - if no-one else wants it, I'll take it off your hands :D
