Title pretty much says it all. I have an Amiga 1200 with a Blizzard 1230 Mk4 and the SCSI Kit installed. I have the SCSI cable running out the back door, but I have nothing to secure it with. Anyone got a spare they're willing to part with.

Also, I'm still looking for a SCSI controller for my A1000. These things either are rare as anything, or the people that have them don't want to part with them, which I understand. But I figure there's no harm in asking!

Thanks

Good luck on finding what you want! Now, as about the A1000 SCSI you need, may i suggest you consider some alternative? There's this fella here on Amibay that sells side-expansion Zorro adapters, whereas you could plug a regular Zorro SCSI card on it. Downside, a little ugly if you don't want to have things visible, and you would also need a Kickstart ROM adapter if you want that girl booting up pronto! :)

Well, I might have to do that, though it would be ugly as sin unless I craft some sort of case for it. I know someone else here (or the same person, maybe) also supplies a CF card interface for the 1000 as well. Either one would work in a pinch. Anything for the A500 is out, as it will block my mouse and joystick ports. I'm not all that concerned about booting. The intent would be to hook up an HD for the games that have native support for HD installation.

Having a 500 or a 2000 would make things easier, but not only is this 1000 my first Amiga, but also my first computer. 27 years old and still runs great.

BLTCON0: I don't know how many times I looked over Amigakit for that piece and never saw it. I could kick myself, as I just received my Indivision MK2 from them. And shipping from the UK isn't cheap. But now that I know it's there, the next time I have an order, I can add it on.

Amen, and hallelujah! Same goes here dude, my most precious 'puter.
I actually plan on building an A1060 replica some time up ahead, but various other projects keep me distracted from doing so..

Bumping in the slim hope that someone might be willing to part with an a1000 scsi controller.

The recommended time period for a bump on a thread is three weeks.

Please try to relax and only bump your thread when the three weeks are up or when there is a significant change to the thread, i.e. price drop, item sold, interest expressed, etc.

Thanks, Dave G
