I'd like to install a kipper2k CF adapter, Indi II and a HxC into my (Escom) A1200. For this I'd need to cut the case in several places. As I've never done this before I thought I ask first if someone has any tips with regards to proper placement, techniques etc. so that I won't hopefully ruin my case...
In particular:
I've read that the PCMCIA slot opening needs to be enlarged "a bit"...
I haven't properly remounted everything yet, but as far as I can see the CF slot seems to sit right _above_ the PCMCIA opening. So I need to basically double its height. Is this correct or did I make a mistake somewhere?
For the HxC, what is the optimal placement for the LCD etc. Also any tips on how to properly cut the hole and how to fasten the LCD inplace so that it does not fall out or looks ugly would be very appreciated.
The DVI connector for the Indi can be fitted to the "SCSI connector" near the right edge of the case as far as I know, so that should be fairly simple. If I'm mistaken, please let me know
Any other gotchas etc. that I may have forgotten?
