This weekend I'll be transforming these fine pc pieces into Amiga 1200 connectors.

the wiring is wrong so I'll have to resolder them all, I also need to drill a small hole to remove the "key".

These ones are sold for the price of PP (and bubble-envelopes unless we agree to something.

This means, that shippings will only be sometime next week.

2 x Blankstare (sent)
2 x Gavilan (reserved until g-rex sale sorts out)
1 x HeZor (sent)

Sure, I'll reserve 2 for you until we know about the g-rex :)

update: without the g-rex, the price for shipping internationally is $2.50, I can squeese the weight down below the minimum weight and still in a bubble plastic envelope

@Gavlian, just sent Blankstares today, and found out that the prices I found were wrong, I've corrected to the correct price of shipping, just to let you know :)

feedback left as well, and jolly gosh, that was quick :)

I'm still thinking back to when postcards were sent, they took weeks to arrive to the recipient.

Did you get a chance to test them ?

Not tested yet.....waiting for an A1200 mainboard to return from being repaired

Judging by the fine hackery performed, I'm sure they'll work just fine :)

I need a male header to connect this to my miggy, it's female on the mobo. also the cable is shorter and isn't any of the ones pictured here. Overall all positive.

I take it you have a rev b motherboard, these connectors are for rev 1d4.
the rev b has a pcb connected to it's side where the mouse connector is attached (alittle overkill I night say)

It's quite embarrasing, I was looking where I placed that, I guess I accidently sent you my original connector :-/ very sorry about that.

Yes it's with a pcb connector, I'm trying to find a male header now,
NP, it's a little shorter than I expected.

well if I'm careful I might have an old motherboard with a USB socket (those sockets are probably what you are looking for), I can try and desolder it, but cannot guarantee anything.

I'm sitting at my office right now, so I cannot see if the pins are straight or 90degrees bend.

Do you know someone who can solder ?
else I might find an old IDE cable and use the flat cable from there.

(I have one of those rev B boards so I can see how the pin connections are supposed to be anyway ;-))

If I'll be successful in this I'll send it free-of-charge, to make up to my mistake earlier.

That would be great!
Sadly, my soldering tool broke nowadays.

@Hezor
sorry for the long delay,
I managed to fix you up a cable

the connectors are meant to be soldered to a pcb this means the pins are alittle loose and you'll need to take care when sticking it in (narf)

the blue connector goes to the MB, and the white goes to the connector you already got.

the red wire is pin1

I'll send it one of these days ;-)
I think I still have your address

cheers
/Tomse
