Anyone know of more than one SCSI solution for an A1200 with PiStorm32? I know of Squirrel SCSI, but are there others? I am kind of limited on what I can do because I plan to install the PiStorm32 on my A1200, so accelerator with SCSI is kind of out. My goal is to use the Bernoulli and Zip drives that I have from the 90's. Thanks.

Unfortunately as far as I know. The standard Squirrel (Not the Squirrel with the COM port) is the only solution. Had to do this on a PiStorm build to run Jaz and Zip drives.
If there is another solution, then it would be a Dataflyer. This is a small device that connects to the 44 pin ide header. But it is very limited on what it supports.

The only thing i know what maybe can work is a angle adapter with zorro or pci bus adapter. and you have still the slot free for a turbo card or a pistorm. But that wil be a very exotic project and you need a other case. / tower.

Have found 2 examples, see the videos

Forget about using a Mediator with a Pistorm32. Have tried this and found you can only use a EMU68 release from 11th June 2024 to at least sort of work together. Plus with using an Adaptec 2940 you are limited as it will not allow for booting SCSI devices.

Yeah was looking also for a solution long time ago.. Ending up by putting back my JawsII-030_SCSI in the 1200. Otherwise i could not use the DAT streamer and IO mega zip drives. Dont have SCSI in my a4000 sow that was is a bummer.

I found an Adaptec Slim SCSI APA-1460A card inside my storage... If find the cable, I am going to try this card out to see if it will work with the A1200.

Good luck 🤞🏻 Not known if anyone has tried to get one of those working. You may need a driver. Which I believe is none existent
