Hi guys,

3 up for grabs, I may have a few more bits to follow once I find them (may be A500 in bits, mice, joystick, power supply, no promises on these though ;))

A2000

Not boxed and in need of a spruce up. I have a manual and keyboard, can't find a mouse for it. I powered it up this evening but all I got was a white screen, the power supply works not sure about the rest. It has a hard drive in it with a "Trumpcard" sticker on it and a "A2000 PC Emulator" card. I've never used this machine so no idea what is on the drive or what the kickstart is but it appears to be a standard A2000.
Images if anyone is interested.

Artec AM12S flatbed A4 scanner

It powers up and worked when last used several years ago. Contains power cable, install cd (Scanquix5) and scanner to Amiga cable.
Blurb on box says "PCI SCSI II Ultra Speed, 3D scanning solution, 36-bit superior colour, Auto scan Batch scan, 19200 dpi high resolution"
Images if anyone is interested.

Citizen Swift 200C 24pin dot matrix printer

It's a bit yellowed but used and worked when last used (black ribbon has dried out). Powers up. It will take a colour ribbon. Box contains manual, power cable, printer to Amiga cable, driver floppy disk.

All for free. I would prefer these to be collected in person if possible because of the postage costs, as they are all quite bulky, but I can also travel to reduce the mileage.

Cheers and beers folks.

@ G-H,

Welcome to Amibay, I hope you enjoy trading here!

I must say, that's a fine first offer you have made there, expect that to be snapped up PDQ.

Regards

Merlin

If you'd part it out I'd be really interested in that PC emulation card.
Happy to pay postage on that and the keyboard if available.

I actually may be down that way in a couple of weeks so if you can't part it out I'd probably be able to collect the lot actually.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I hoped for some interest but wasn't expecting it quite so quick!

r0jaws - I will pm you shortly with regards to this little collection. I hope that the 2000 has some use for you guys and that it's not a pile of *$%^£". As they haven't been used in years, it will be good to see them go to home where they will be cared for and looked after ;)

Regards

@ G-H

I wasn't kidding when I said it would get snapped up, Amibay has really taken off since Christmas and the Recycle Bin section has been a massive hit. It's nice to see the traders miss out on some of these gems of offers as well, as you can tell I'm not a massive fan of certain auction sites *cough*.

Believe me, when our professor of hacknology Zetr0 has finished with it, it will be pimped out something shocking....

@ meega

Nice avatar mate, I hope G-H take you up on that one....

Phew!
Just finished my round trip of the south, east and west of the UK and have finally arrived back home with all the bits & pieces!
Many, many thanks to G-H and sorry it was such a hit & run type affair and that we didn't have time to have a good old chin wag.
Once I drop it round to zetro we'll keep you posted of any developments.
You have made 2 people very happy, cheers mate :D :D :D :D

Re: A2000, flatbed A4 scanner, 24pin dot matrix printer

you know....

although i have owned various Amiga all over the years.... this will be the FIRST big box amiga, i will ever own!!!!

AND its one of the best!!!!!

it looks gorgeous, an epic testament of the end of the 80's :D

I really am both honoured and pleased that you let me have this G-H, and that r0jaws was about to pick it up.

truly.... awesome!

the Plans i have at the moment, will be to restore her... and perhaps build a few cards and things internally.... I have a K6 II500 ISA (256 ram) SBC that will work in this on the ISA port, this will give me DOS Box / Linux / win98/95 gamming AND if i am feeling masochistic i could also have windows XP on there as well... :D

I will also link the Amiga and the PC (essentially) using either Ethernet or SCSI network and then from this use SIAMESE system for some major RTG / process sharing :D

Also I have some scsi card and network card that can go in...

the cpu could do with a boost, i have plans for that.... but i am going to resist hard hacking the board, as i find these one of most elegant designs there is....

@TC - having read that post, yep you were right!

@Zetr0 - sounds like that little job will keep you busy for a day or two  Glad to know you're a happy bunny with your BIG toy (I feel all warm and fuzzy inside). Sounds like it will have many happy days now, rather than being stashed under my stairs!
