Hi folks - if anyone needs the aforementioned floppy drive (working but without it's facia / faceplate) it's yours for price of postage to wherever you are.

This is the last of the components from my now split and sold A4000.

Cheers

John

Is this a standard A4000 drive? If so I'd be willing to take it. I'm in Glasgow too, south side. What about you?

If the above deal fall trough, I'll declare myself next in line. My A4000 floppy (was used in the A2000) died a couple of weeks ago.

If they both drop out I would like to be next in line as I need a replacement drive for my A4000.

@RMK - I believe it is (came out of my A4000).

Yours if you want it. I'm also in the south side (Crookston).

Just to confirm, I believe this is the slimline, DD drive (not high density) one.

I've done a check on the interweb and it looks like Andy is right. It seems that this drive is what came with the A1200, so unfortunately, although it came out of my A4000 it's probably been in an A1200 before that.

Still free though to anyone who does want it.

Cheers

@ staff on ths thread

How about moderating the thread with RE: to no updates on business, instead of thinking about your own needs??

Not impressed!!

@ John & the thread

Actually, I have no idea why I would have posted what I did, having just re-read the whole thread?

I must have confused myself over the date stamps thinking it had gone over by a month....

Please accept my sincere apologies & just ignore me on this occasion.

Drive arrived on Friday. Many thanks John.

Do I leave feedback? If so, how?

Hi Robert - glad the drive arrived safely.

You can leave feedback if you wish from clicking on my profile and I think you can select the feedback from there. You need to copy the URL from the "sale" thread.

Cheers
