Picked up locally an A2000. My first. Owner mentioned that he had previously sold his A4000 too. Older chap, seems to have forgotten most everything he knew about these machines back in the day.
When I get it home to hook it all up, I notice the kb doesnt fit, mine has a PS2 type connector. I'll bet that guy who bought the A4000 got the wrong kb.
Anyway, I look in my old PC parts box and sure enough I have an adapter for using a PC AT style kb on a newer PC with PS2 kb connector.
So everything physically fits now except I dont want to blow something by trying this out before getting a blessing here.
Should mention I searched for this answer all over but couldnt find a definitive answer. Most inquiries seem to be for the reverse of what I want.
