I picked up an A4000T motherboard a while ago and yet to try it out.
I can't justify paying over £400 for a damaged case from Ebay and dread to think what a mint one would cost...

So I thought I would start on an E-ATX case conversion.

The case is a NZXT H630 Silent Ultra Enthusiast Tower case in Matte Black. In the front I have some generic IDE black DVD burner, I would like to replace this with a more "Black" unit at some point.
Below that I have a BitFenix 5 1/4 to 3 1/2" Drive bay adaptor in "SoftTouch" finish, it's a little flimsy putting it together but with the Black Gotek in it's solid enough when installed and matches the NZXT case pretty well!

Quite a few mounting holes for the motherboard line up. Just need to drill and tap a few more.

As I don't have any of the modules for the motherboard I have installed an Indivision AGA MK2cr to get video output
and I have just ordered an X-Surf 100 as well as the USB addon so I can use a mouse as well.
I am going back computer shop tomorrow to buy an internal USB hub. Going to use an NZXT IU01 so I can use the two USB2 ports and the SD-Card reader on the case.

I still need to make up a latching circuit to power up and down the system from the case push button.

Will post updates as they happen.

Can't I just use IDE for now?
That GVP Scsi card is just there to make sure the slots line up...

With A4000D Kickstart it might work, haven't tried, but with A4000T Kickstart it just hangs at POST without the SCSI module.

Thanks for the info, I will give both kickstarts a go when I get it powered up. If not will look for the modules I did find a website (German?) where they had new DIY kits for the modules but I can't find that site now :(
