For sale here are storage bags for your boxed A500 / A500+
These will help stop storage & shelf scratches, and tears to the box as well as keeping out the dust. If you add silica gel, might help against moisture too.
50x85cm @ 100um thickness (tearing at approx 30kg). 70g weight per bag. Slide the box long side into the bag opening and push in. It's a tight fit, helps keep out the air. I prefer to tape over the corners and tape down as seen here:

For sale here are 1 plastic bag 500mm x 500mm @ 70um thick (double thickness of original bag). This is is a tight fit, and you have to insert the Amiga A500 straight (not at an angle) or you won't get past the floppy) - this is deliberate to minimise the amount of air in the bag.
Store your A500 in the original box, or wherever free of dust and minimising the attacking oxygen. Even throw in a silica gel pouch for good measure
