Hi,
I have a column of keys not working in an A500 keyboard.
the keys are F4, 5, T, G, B.

The membrane is brand new, it was working fine until today, I bought it about a year ago, also I've tested it with a multimeter and the tracks seems fine.

If the problem is in the keyboard pcb's, what things can i try?
I also suspect it can be the connector to the membrane.

Any help will be very much appreciated!
TIA

Hola!

I'm no expert, but one of those lines of keys not working usually indicates a bad membrane track or indeed an issue with the connector.
Similar issues described here:

If cleaning the membrane doesn't help, it might very well be the connector itself.

Any other devices around to test/swap?

Edit: pretty convinced those keys are all on the same line on the membrane, certain it doesn't have a fault anywhere?

I've cleaned the membrane, although it is practically new.
I've tested the membrane with another keyboard pcb that I have, but that one has a lot of keys not working.
Yes, those keys are on the same line, but I've tested them with a multimeter for continuity and they seem fine, so I'm more inclined to some problem with the pcb or the connector on the pcb making bad contact. I'll keep investigating.

Thank for your help!
