Looking to buy a A600 board, preferably a Rev 2D as thats what is in the machine. or a complete A600. I have been away from the Amiga scene since 2010, had to sell everything I had then (god its worth a fortune these days)... fast forward to last week, bought a so called working A600 from someone on a FB miggy group, turns out its got the dreaded black screen. so its either chuck money at it in the hopes it gives a cough.. and lives. or its just buy a known good working one, and try to fix it later... so here we are.
Im looking for a good reasonably priced A600, it don't need to have expansions etc etc as im gonna be fitting a pistorm anyways, and this crap 600 I have has a 8mb expansion on the CPU and 1mb in the trapdoor. and a 4GB CF car, it was cosmetically pretty good, just some duff clips as usual. but those are getting fixed. and the PSU seems good. so even if i dont fit a pi.. it will be fine for some gaming. and yeah i know id like an A1200 again.. but folks are asking mental money for em. so a 600 it is, as its enough to get back to real hardware and cheapish! well in todays terms.
Also looking for a dead or just the case for a Vic 20, I have an early 2 pin psu unit in great working nick but the case is banana yellow, and scratched to hell, but the keys are good, and the board. so id like to make a nice one out of it.
Lemme know if you have anything. and if theres any recommendations for recapping/testing in the UK as i might try get the existing board sorted out once i find something in the meantime.
