Hi all,

Up for sale is my lovely Amiga A600 - Unfortunately as some may know, spending a fortune on car repairs has left me with next to no cash to live on for the month

Anyway, spec is as follows:

  • Amiga A600
  • Kickstart 3.1 ROMs
  • A604 expansion - gives 2MB CHIP RAM and the ability to add one of the upgrades mentioned below
  • ACA620EC accellerator (newer revision) - upgrades to 680EC020 and 10 MB RAM (or thereabouts)
  • Indivision ECS - enables use of a VGA monitor - removed RF modulator and placed VGA connector in place
  • 4GB CF (Compact Flash) card setup and installed with ClassicWB 68k (works with or without the ACA), latest WHDLoad (unregistered). <snip>

I've done a few cusomisations to the ClassicWB system: I've added AGLaunch to User-Startup with "JoyMouse" support - if you close the AmigaGuide window, it'll then boot to Workbench as normal - I use this setup at events because some people don't realise there's a "Quit Key" in WHDLoad and reboot it

I've also added ACATune to startup to add all the RAM (it only adds 4MB by default) and I've moved CF0 into DEVS:DOSDrivers so a PCMCIA CF card adaptor can be used straight off without further software installation.

The card is preped with PFS (Professional File System) in "Direct SCSI mode" so should be compatible with just about all Amiga model if you later decide to move the CF card or want to clone it for other Amigas.

I've tested the hardware - it all works - however, the ACA tends to get very warm - after several hours of usage, it has been known to lock up the odd time - I suspect this is down to lack of cooling. Switching off and leaving for an hour and then returning back to the A600 fixes the problem every time.

The casing is in good condition but it's only held together by one screw as the screws holes are wearing away - it holds together OK though

Finally, I've been unable to find the power supply - I'll carry on looking for it, and if I find it, I'll chuck it in gratis (for free)

I'm wanting £150 for this - the expansions are probably worth that alone.
Buyer to pay via PayPal Gift or PayPal & PayPal fees.

I'm expecting postage to be £10 to anywhere UK mainland.
I'M NOT OFFERRING THIS TO OVERSEAS - PLEASE, UK ONLY.

Any question, please PM me.

I'm gonna declare interest 2nd in line whilst i check if i can muster up some finances :)

Bebek has said he wants it (PM'd asking for PayPal address)
Awaiting reply/payment.

If this falls through, second in line Scrappy and third in line Amiga Forever (although judging by things, I think Bebek is going for it)

@woodycool

I've had to edit a small section of your original post.

I'm sure you know why I did ;)
