What's the purpose of the Shadow RAM on this board ?

You can load Kickstart-files in there (256kb or 512kb).

Yes, up to 14MHz and for use other kickstarts, you can use Kickstart 1.x up to 3.1.4 by software only.
It is possible to switch back to 7MHz by software.
