Didnt want to hijack the other thread so I've put all my photos here (theres not many as its a quick and easy mod to do)

So after setting my ACA500 up, it had a close call with my son so decided to cover it up and I just happened to have a non working GVP in my collection so decided to mod that.

The most awkward thing to do here is getting the holes in the right place, I ended up making a template and using that to mark the positions.

Also my A500+ will need slightly thicker feet to accommodate the screws under the GVP case.

Theres a few bits to sort out like the LEDS but I can do that an other day.
There is also plenty of room inside incase the Subway ever becomes available again, mines inside my A1200 and its not coming out.

And even though the original insides of the GVP are not working I cannot bring myself to through them away .

Nice.

You should wire up the switch to a disable jumper on the ACA1232 :)

What's your plan for CF access?

Thanks.
For access I'm thinking of hinging the case but I'll see how it goes. Once I've set a card up I hardly ever touch it again.

The card is a aca1220, haven't got the instructions to hand at the moment but is there a jumper on this card as well ?.

Thinking of getting some stickers made up but I might leave it as is for that stealth look :-)

Very nice :)

I have the exact same setup here.

I also have a Rochard 800C which I still need to test, bought it as "unknown" so if it turns out to be faulty, theACA500 is moving in.

I like how you have used pc case thumbscrews to fix it down (thats what they are right?) I have a bag full of them.

They only thing for me is sorting out access to the card slots! I will want ot get at them without taking the top off constantly.

Cheers :-) yes there PC case thumb screw's. They were the first screw's i laid my hands on when test fitting it all, think I'll leave them in.
I was wondering if you could buy adaptors to extend the cf slots and then cut slots in the front of the case for access but not sure.
Might leave it for the moment, I've got to finish my A4000 :-)
