I'm selling a Acard 7720U adapter, which can be used to connect a 40 pins IDE drive to a 50 pin SCSI controller. It was the way to go in the earlier days if you wanted to have the quick transfer rates from SCSI combined with the cheaper and more silent storage from IDE drives.
I have previously used the adapter without any issues in a A1200T with BPPC and a 250 GB harddrive. At some point the capacitor and crystal in the upper right corner has gotten knocked off, and I replaced the adapter in my A1200T with another one I had laying around. The capacitor and crystal has since been replaced on the adapter for sale here. I have tried the adapter in my working configuration, but unfortunately the adapter doesn't seems to find any harddrives connected. For this reason please be aware that the item is sold as defective and some tinkering and bughunting must be expected to get it to work, if possible at all.
Price is 600 DKK.
Payment through IBAN prefered, but I can also take friend payments through Paypal, or buyer pays fees. The last option will require tracked shipping though.
