ACard AEC-7722 is an IDE to SCSI bridge adapter. It allows an IDE device to connect to a SCSI bus via 68-pin connector.

Plugs directly to the back of an IDE CD-ROM drive, allows you use a more readily available IDE CD/DVD drive
This is an IDE to SCSI card, that works with every IDE CD/DVD DRIVE I have found. I wasn't able to get it to work with other IDE devices which is why I'm calling it a CD-ROM adapter, but you may find a way to connect an IDE HDD
there is protective bracket that is included (see pictures)
CD Drive not included.
