An Acer Extensa 5235 model ZR6
In fairly good condition. It is based around the Celeron 900, running at 2.2GHZ. Comes with 1gb of ram, and has 1 spare slot for more. Built in wifi & dvd rom. Screen is in good shape, keyboard fairly clean (I've just spent a while cleaning it up!)
There are a few problems.
However, I have run it through Memtest 86, and it ran through 6 passes fine. The battery holds it's charge - running for just under 1.5 hours whilst memtesting.
It has 3 USB ports, and a slot on the front that seems to be advertised as SD & MSPro. There is one VGA port and audio in/out.
On the underside is a license for Windows 7 Pro Academic Edition. I have no media nor other literature for this. The key can't be read, being worn over time.
Ive booted it into Ubuntu 10 from a usb memory stick to test the keyboard and tracker pad. The keyboard is fine, and the only problem with the tracker pad is that the left button is a bit depressed. A dose of prozac may sort it, but it does work just fine.
Reserved for austinsom until the end of today off the back of another transaction. After then normal interest rules apply.
I'm asking £45 for this, with a fiver for UK Hermes based postage. Other couriers and overseas at cost.
(Note, pictures were taken during the cleanup, and are displayed chronologically, so grime from pic 1 isn't on pic 12)

There are a few problems.
- It has no hard drive. It's just a standard sata 2.5" drive that's needed. The one I removed had failed.
- The charger isn't the original, it works but is a bit slack.
- It has paint splatter on the lid, and a bit of a blob. It is scratching off though.
- There are a few dings and scratches on it
- It does smell a bit of smoke, which is fading as time goes on.
- I suspect in needs a new cmos battery. It looks like it's a standard coin cell. I will confirm this ASAP
