Sold Acorn tape data recorder (original)

For sale an original tape deck (cassete data recorder) for Acorn Computers. In working order (not tested with Acorn), no extra cables for it.
I am asking 8 euro, paypal only.

I made a final test before packing, and it seems that one belt is just cutted. The tapedeck is working correct in "reverse" and "forward", but in "play" only one head is moving. I thing that there is a belt connecting the 2 heads and the counter that it is broken.
So i will sent it for free, if someone is interested as faulty, and if he fix it and plays, he can give me everything he wants
Everyone should re-state interest (the line is the same), because now it is a different item.

you can find that out by simply tracing back from the battery compartment.

The jack is a very wierdly shaped affair..not sure if a std 3.5mm will cut it..
I will see if I can get a picture of mine later..

Tbh it shouldnt be a great deal to replace the jack anyway...

Lost power about an hour ago in the gales (apparently they expected to peak at 95mph at 3am ) and I'm running off the laptop battery so if you don't hear from me tomorrow that'll be why

The power jack is a very common jack, my brother test it with an "universal psu", the one we use with consoles like atari woody and snes.

Perfect, I've a couple of the universal adapters in the drawer with a 2 1/2 and 3 1/3mm jack.
