Just an update:

Here are some pictures of the device running on my trusty standard A500 Rev6, I haven't tried it on my other machines as they are all being temperamental, and this doesn't fit the A1200! [Also being temperamental]. These were taken today.

Seemingly working when you press the "Freeze" button. Waiting for an answer back from swemarx, if not, then I'll offer to AwakeningStar.
