- How do you deal with floppy drives ?
- Is there a way to gracefully expose the CF drives once the case is closed ?
- Has anybody tried it having also a bridgeboard installed in the system ?

This is my assembly concept for ACA500/plus in the 5.25 "bay.
The plate will be made of plexi with a thickness of 4 mm. ACA500/plus and ACA12xx will be bolted to a plexiglass plate with a plastic distances.

I try design front bezel for CF cards and slim cd drive below plexi plate but I need some time argghhh...

The Wimgo1 idea is interesting, it can also go in this direction.

I don't have bridgeboard so I have not tested, I will try to find something about it.


At weekend I'll should finish soldering rest of adapters and update/verify list of interested people.

Thanks for the answers. I'm very tempted, since my ACA500/ACA1221 have been replaced by a Vampire in the Amiga 500+ and remain idle on their shelf...
If I replace the trusty GVP Gforce 030 in my A2000 by the ACA/ACA combo, I'll loose some cpu speed, but gain many other advantages.

However, I for one would rather favor the use of the left side 3"1/2 drive bay.

Ok, count me in, where do I sign ? ;-P

I also used a plexiflass plate of 4mm
You can take out both CF cards.
Only thinking of a solution of closing the diskdrive bay.

The adapter should work independently of the aca500 version.
Clear the connector in A2000, maybe some signals do not reach the mobo connector, look at the cables connecting the adapter pcb's. Do you have a multimeter?
Each adapter has been tested before shipment.

On that Board, Rev6.4 is an 68020TK with an Adapter in the TC Slot from DJ Cook working, but with your Adapter it stays black on the monitor. I‘ll Check that tomorrow. just want to know if somebody has an ACA500 without plus running with your Adapter.
