Well, I (being someone who knows nothing about this type of thing) wouldn't have thought this was possible...

A minimig without a 68020 (just 68000) core running WITH AGA support, AND games working??? I'm a bit shocked by that...

As I understand it, the minimig with the add-on needed to do that (Replay something?) is still a bit spendy, but still very impressive..

Incase you missed it, that "xchip" command boosted the 2MB chipram 52 Megabytes -

AFAIK theres no way that I know of where you can get more than 4MB on a MiniMig, although the Devboard this is made on, could possible be a prototype to show what a MiniMig2 could do!!!, that would be cool =D

alas a big drawback of this is the 68k moto cpu... a lot of AGA games are compiled for an 020 as such make use of instructions no present in the 68000 cpu - this leads to guru's and crashes =(

but if they plumbed out an 020 varient MiniMig with AGA.... yeah... I'd buy 2!!!

A way to "smooth" regular crashes in the Minimig AGA is replacing the 68000 with a 68HC010. 020 uses a few more instructions than 010, but 010 is more compatible with 020 than 000, that's for sure.
